Before transitioning into public practice, John gained extensive experience in corporate settings, particularly within large non-profit organisations. He takes pride in adopting best practice, consistently striving for service excellence, and emphasises professional development within his firm. John also has ambitious plans to expand K & N Partners, showing no signs of slowing down.

Mark Craven
Senior Accountant
Mark joined K & N Partners in 2022. He brings a wealth of corporate knowledge to the company having worked in senior finance positions across a range of industries. These companies operated throughout Australia, with many also operating in Asia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
His most recent position, prior to joining K & N Partners, was as consulting CFO to an Australian registered training organisation.
In addition to his responsibilities with K & N Partners, Mark is also a Principal Technical Reviewer and Authorisation Panel member setting exam requirements for the CPA Program’s Ethics and Governance subject. Mark is also a senior member of the Ethics and Governance exam marking team.
Mark is also a Tutor, Forum Moderator and Assessor for Kaplan Professional.

Kyle Allen
Operations Manager
Kyle joined K & N Partners in 2024. He brings a wealth of knowledge in the areas of project management, Occupational, Health and Safety (OH&S) and organisational behaviour. Kyle has built and managed his own businesses in Maritime, Engineering and Compliance services for many years, bringing a unique perspective to our accounting team when discussing business operating issues with clients. Kyle is able to provide essential support and guidance to our clients operating in the construction and engineering industries with his expert knowledge in OHS and workplace issues. Kyle’s superb interpersonal skills allows him to effectively communicate with people at all levels of an organisation. He is able to bring a sense of calm to any situation a client may find themselves in, and is able to guide and assist that client through, what is generally, a very stressful situation. OH&S and workplace safety are extremely important areas for all businesses and Kyle can provide a review and recommendations to ensure compliance to all regulations.

Julian Bylsma

Julian joined K & N Partners in September 2025, bringing a fresh perspective into the accounting industry. Completing his Bachelor of Commerce in 2004 at La Trobe University, he spent sixteen years in the transportation industry as a finance officer before moving to an accounting practice in Bundoora. At K & N Partners, Julian wants to continue learning from the senior accountants while developing his knowledge of the K & N Partners clients to provide tailored advice to each client to assist them to achieve their goals.
As a self confessed fitness fan, Julian enjoys all forms of sport and various fitness regimes, having played football and basketball at a competitive level.

Rashmee is an assistant accountant at K & N Partners, joining in 2024. In her role, Rashmee collaborates closely with senior accountants and other accounting professionals, providing valuable support in carrying out accounting duties.
